It's Another Double-Header Weekend!

Two shows in two days - Peter Pixie & El Secreto worked twice as hard for you this weekend!

First, Peter was live at DrakeCon Saturday afternoon with voice actors Kyle Hebert and Roy Mustang himself, Travis Willingham, to talk about their latest projects and favorite anime experiences and much more! Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, the show was unable to be taped, but we thank everyone who joined us live at the convention!

Then, for Sunday's special pre-Big Game episode, the boys got their own Sugar Momma! Keisha Howard, founder of Sugar Gamers, stopped by to talk about her gaming expertise - and to lay down a challenge! Plus, find out how you can watch El Secreto on your TV! It's double the show and double the laughs this week on HOUR 42!

Shallow End of the (Dead)Pool

By El Secreto

Marvel revealed the Deadpool Siege variant cover it offered to retailers - in exchange, of course, for stores trashing 50 comics and sending Marvel the covers.

So, this was supposed to be worth $100 worth of potential revenue? With apologies to Conan O'Brien, it's hard not to look at this "exclusive" cynically.

Start with the gimmick: "gangsta" Deadpool? The X-Men rings and Mjolnir necklace are kinda funny, but otherwise the Ali G. reference is more dated than Borat jokes.

Secondly, the cover has nothing to do with Siege itself. That's not artist J. Scott Campbell's fault, but Marvel sticking this particular image on a comic that's supposedly part of its' biggest event of the year is a questionable choice, at best.

And speaking of questionable, how does this picture, with two non-descript, nameless "hot girls" hanging all over Deadpool, fit in alongside Her-Oes and Girl Comics?
